While Grace and I were getting some sunset portraits taken after our ceremony, our guests enjoyed a cocktail hour in our reception area. The bars were open, chilled seafood was passed, and everyone could start celebrating! Our amazing caterers served oysters, sea salt-poached shrimp, veggie burger sliders, fig and ricotta bites, and a cheese and mezze grazing station.
Our coordinator, florist, and venue hosts set up sweet details around our cocktail hour area, with little bud vases and bowls of citrus that fit with the outdoor setting of our celebration.
We also rented some vintage couches and love seats to give our guests cozy places to sit and enjoy a drink before dinner started.
Because we were off taking photos for most of cocktail hour, it was so fun to get the pictures back and see everyone hanging out and having fun!
After we finished our couples’ portraits, we rejoined our reception and were so glad to start hugging our loved ones and celebrating!
