Welcome to my online journal! My name is Elizabeth, and I'm so glad you're here. I started Have Dog, Will Drive in 2017 as a way to share life online, with a focus on dog-friendly road trips. Since then, my dog Casper passed away unexpectedly, I adopted a new rescue pup (Willie Nelson), I drove from LA to Alaska and back with him, got engaged while there, came home and moved into a little West Hollywood bungalow, adopted a second dog (Jellybean), got married, honeymooned in Hawaii, and started settling into life as a newlywed.

All of those life experiences gave me a lot to write about here. These days, you can still find me blogging about my dog-friendly road trip roots, but with a lot else mixed in—everything from my monthly goals to entertaining and hospitality tips to thoughts on queer identity. I love:

Grace

the Pacific Ocean

my Episcopal faith

my parents and siblings and parents/siblings-in-law

making homemade bread

a clean slate

entertaining and hospitality

a heart to heart over a glass of orange wine or rosé

dogs big and small, seniors and puppies

homemaking

blogging

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my blog. I always love to hear from people who enjoy it, so don’t be shy to contact me!
