WOW this month has slipped away from me quickly. It’s a little disappointing to me that this is only my second blog post in 2020, as I love this little space so much. That said, I’m super hard on myself in general so I’m trying to be less so :) I think that being less hard on yourself means not necessarily feeling the need to explain when you don’t meet all your goals. We all have stuff going on. I could write a mile-long list here of everything I’ve had going on for the first six weeks of 2020, but that would be counterproductive to my heart for my blog: to write whenever I can, about whatever I want, which brings me joy.
My February goals are pretty simple! Here’s what I’m hoping to accomplish this month:
File our joint taxes
Plan/book spring travel (we have trips with friends, bachelorette parties, weddings … all exciting!)
[Big personal goal not sharing publicly right now]
Write three blog posts here! Not counting this one!
Order a photo album from our Alaska trip
I hope you have had a beautiful first couple of weeks of this short month of love. Grace is going to be traveling on Valentine’s Day (more State of Grace episodes coming!), so we are going on an early V-Day date tonight.
